A dedicated member of various organizations, Theresa was a proud participant in the Krewe of Andalusia, Krewe of Iberians, Woodmen of the World, Knights of Columbus No. 3425, and a past member of the Jaycee Jaynes. Mrs. Louviere was a true saleswoman at heart, dedicating an impressive 46 years of her life to Abdalla’s Department Store. Affectionately known as Aunt Tee Dee to most of her nieces and nephews, Theresa was a remarkably loving and giving person. She cherished every moment spent with family and friends and her entertaining spirit brought joy to those around her.

To her other family members she was simply known as Maw Maw, a title that reflected the warmth and love she shared within her family circle. Among her cherished nicknames, there was one special name – double mama – a unique title with a story that only those close to Theresa would understand.

Theresa Broussard Louviere will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and the love she showered upon everyone she encountered. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may her memory continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
