A graveside service will be conducted for Victor Landry, 78, at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Holy Family Cemetery with Deacon Chris Doumit officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Victor Landry passed away at 7:54 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Consolata Nursing Home in New Iberia.
A native of and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Victor married Jeanette O’Loughlin Landry. They were married for 54 years.
Victor proudly served in the United States Army for three years. He served in Germany in the 318th Army Security as an agent. He said, “It was a wonderful time in my life”.
Victor spent his life working in the construction business, building anything from homes to large industrial projects.
Victor is survived by his siblings Evelyn Hebert, Raymond Landry, Viola Milliman and Elton J. Landry; foster children Kenny Wyatt and Casey Wyatt; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette O’Loughlin Landry; his parents Noah and Vernet Bodin Landry; his siblings Elsie Landry, Earl Landry and Milton Landry.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Elton Landry, Lloyd Milliman, Marvin Milliman, Duke Milliman, Casey Wyatt, Steve Latiolas and Kenny Wyatt.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana and Consolata Nursing Home for the care they showed Victor during his time of need.
