Why Is The Teche Area Important To You:
The Teche Area is important to me, because it is who I am. I am a New Iberia Native and the culture, the festivals, and the community I grew up in made me who I am today.
What Do You Do For Fun:
For fun I like to entertain the children in my center to make them laugh and smile. I also enjoy spending time with my 3 boys with their extracurricular activities, and traveling to different cities.
Any Hobbies:
My hobbies are cooking, getting pampered ie.: doing my nails, lashes, facials, and massages. I also enjoy shopping at nice boutiques, and going to festivals especially if Chris Ardoin is playing.
Who Are Your Role Models:
My biggest role model is my 93 year old Grandmother Lillie Mae Hamilton-Sereal. My grandmother taught me how to be the kind, loving, and respectful woman I am today. She not only taught me what a woman is but what a WOMAN of God is a virtuous Proverbs 31 woman. My mother and father Norma and Donald Manuel are also huge role models in my life. Both of my parents are veterans who served their country with dignity and grace and that’s how I serve the people around me.
What Are Some Of Your Future Plans Or Goals:
My future plans are to be right where God wants me to be. Whatever his will is for my life I know that it will be good. I just want to be a living sacrifice for his Kingdom.
Is There Anything Else You Would Like To Say:
I would like to congratulate all the nominees on this big accomplishment and I pray that you all do well in your future endeavors.
