The New Iberia Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 900 block of Russo Road just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

Responding Officers arrived and discovered a residence in the 900 block of Russo Road had been shot multiple times.

Officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect vehicle from video surveillance footage in the area. The suspect vehicle is described as a blue or green 4-door sedan.
