The Entre Nous Club of Jeanerette has awarded Ally Burgess a $1,000 scholarship based on her academic and personal achievements.

The daughter of Steven and Maria Burgess, a 2024 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School is entering into South Louisiana Community College to begin working on a degree in communicative disorders.

The Entre Nous Club of Jeanerette awards a scholarship each year to an outstanding student residing in Jeanerette who has been accepted as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.

The annual Entre Nous Scholarship was established in 1996 and is open to both traditional and non-traditional or returning students at any point in their post-high school studies.
