Honorees celebrated at Women Making a Difference luncheon

The ten Women Making a Difference honorees, alongside coworkers, friends and family, met at Le Barn Rouge on Thursday for a special presentation honoring their achievements in the Acadiana Area.

Keynote speaker Melissa Bowen applauded the honorees for their work in the community, ranging from the arts and design to the medical field.

This year’s honorees were: Kali Picard, Borderless Color; Catherine Wattigny, Iberia Mental Health Initiative; Teri Dupuy-Gore, The Hub Lafayette; Maureen Dugas-Foster, Designing Women of Acadiana; Susan Titus, Confidence Campaign; Allison Barron-Brandon, Wonderland Academy; Beth Delcambre, ALS Advocate; Keesha Buteau, Beacon of Light; Kiwana McClung, UL Chief Inclusion Officer and Megan Boudreaux, Respire Haiti.

The event was sponsored by the Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center and catered by Bon Temps Grill.
