Where should I take BUZZ if I were to wear my new white LINEN jacket? The store on French street is the ultimate source of LINEN garments, those spun out of flax (not Cotton!) and that stuff is really SOUTHERN man…cool man, really cool!

Way down yonder they celebrate the fabric during WHITE LINEN NIGHT and that just may where I’ll let BUZZ ride my shoulder? She said that, because I didn’t dress-up for that ‘candlelight thing’ up in Lafayette on Friday (Vivaldi somebody?), I owed her one and I better pay-up or else!

It seems to me that I DID go find a church on Bonin and 4 really talented musicians did not miss a beat, now that I recall.

In fact, Splash and BUZZ stood-up to applaud…a neato thing to do by candlelight. BUZZ seemed to be as transfixed as the whole audience, but I DID detect one pin drop to the floor….5 second rule?

FOUR SEASONS later we all headed for a place to grab some grub where BUZZ could get a bite too. MELVIN’s food is always YUMMY and the poor waitress put up with some of my ‘Blond’ jokes…they always do…

Still early enough in the day, we ventured into a (shoe store?) named E and E and E and E and E,,,(EEEEE)…where you can tell more jokes and play games and meet nice people. I had not been there for a while, Splash was a first-timer and BUZZ?, who really knows for sure??

BUZZ takes me (actually I take BUZZ) to flea markets in Villages, to Bird houses on Main and even to an ANTIQUE SHOPPE on the BIG DOYLE SAILOR street…the one you got to search for behind the old El Paso.

I even ‘scored’ a tool I’ll probably never use, but it was a 1914 thing-of-a-ma-jig-gill-hooey…just try to pass that up!! COOL as linen, I’d say…

AND the Mixing Glass in German…WOW!

Every time a tootin’ freight train passes, I think of BUZZ heading on down the tracks, but she said “NO WAY JOSE!”…not if you keep the A/C on. Same goes for Splash and Missy and ME TOO!

We will venture out to dine, make groceries, hit some favorite spots, the library and perhaps a Council Meeting….or NOT?
