LYDIA CAJUN FOOD FEST

When: Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Weeks Park, 4412 Weeks Park Rd.

What: Come out and support one of the largest fundraising events in Acadiana. This is a family event with Cajun food, live music, lots of fun, a cook off, car show, food vendors, crafts, and kids activities. This local festival is a favorite for families and offers a way for the community to come together, have fun, and give back at the same time.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING ON DA BAYOU

When: Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Bouligny Plaza, 102 W. Main St.

What: One hundred local vendors from all over south Louisiana, just in time for your Christmas shopping! Shop a wide variety of local arts and crafts vendors for that one-of-a-kind gift. In addition there will be live music, pictures with Santa, face painting, pet adoption, delicious food trucks, live portraits, drinks and more.

What: The Tigers might not have started the season how they planned, but four wins in the last five games has given Loreauville a home game in the opening round of the LHSAA Non-Select Division III playoffs. You won’t want to miss this one.
