VERY BERRY CHRISTMAS QUEST

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce, 111 West Main St.

What: A family scavenger hunt. Grab your family and set out on an adventure across New Iberia, with stops inside all of your favorite local businesses. Participants complete a kid-friendly activity, collect a sticker, and move on to the next stop. Pick up your goody bag filled with coupons and holiday treats, as well as your quest cards at the Iberia Chamber office. Every family that turns in a completed card will be entered to win some amazing prizes.

QUEEN CITY CHRISTMAS PARADE

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Main Street

What: The annual Downtown New Iberia Christmas parade. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the Christmas tree at City Hall, then the parade will begin. 100,000+ lights have been installed along the parade route, which runs from Lee Street to Jefferson Street. There will be Christmas floats, dance schools and band performances along with plenty of Christmas throws.

CATHOLIC HIGH VS THE DUNHAM SCHOOL

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, 3:30 P.M.

Where: Caesars Superdome, 1500 Sugar Bowl Drive, New Orleans

What: The Panthers punched their ticket to the Division III final with a dramatic win over Calvary Baptist in the dying seconds of the game. Can CHS keep the dream run alive or will undefeated top seed Dunham send the Panthers packing?
