VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS AT THE JOSEPH JEFFERSON HOME & RIP VAN WINKLE GARDENS

When: Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: 5505 Rip Van Winkle Road

What: What better way to celebrate the season than to enjoy a Victorian Christmas at the Joseph Jefferson Home at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. The twenty-five acre paradise will twinkle with Christmas cheer and the Jefferson Home will be decorated for the holiday season.

JEANERETTE CHRISTMAS PARADE

When: Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Main Street, Jeanerette

What: Christmas parade with Santa Claus, marching bands, dance groups, and more. Join the Jeanerette Chamber of Commerce for their annual Christmas Parade. Lineup starts at 3 p.m. with the parade rolling at 4 p.m.

CHURCH ALLEY GLOWING GROVE

When: Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: 116 Church Alley

What: Stroll through the City of New Iberia’s Church Alley pocket park and experience a myriad of lighted, decorated Christmas trees, donated by local businesses and organizations. Make sure to enjoy the holiday decorations and take your best selfies with your family and friends this season!
