Ralph Neil Kleyla

Loreauville – Funeral Services for Mr. Ralph Neil Kleyla, 89, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Frioux Funeral Chapel of Loreauville with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 beginning at 9:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM.  Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.

A native of Tipton, IN and a resident of Loreauville, Mr. Kleyla died at 11:00PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Southwest Louisiana Veteran Home in Jennings.  He proudly served his country in both the US Marines and the US Army and was the National Commander of Veterans of Underage Military Service.  After a successful career, he retired from the oilfield.  Mr. Ralph was a family first man who enjoyed the outdoors and fishing with his son and grandsons.

He is survived by two sons, John Robert Kleyla and his wife Lisa of Lafayette and Michael Scott Kleyla; a daughter, Vickie Renee Kleyla; a sister, Nita Raquet; and two grandsons, Noah Kleyla and Jacob Kleyla.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Etchison Kleyla; his parents, Robert A. Kleyla and Jennie Weakley Kleyla; a son, Anthony Loren Kleyla; a brother, Jack Kleyla; and two sisters Wilda Cockrill, and Doris Walpe.

Serving as pallbearers will be Noah Kleyla, Jacob Kleyla, Harold Crochet, Blake Barras, Kaden Barras, Mark Stoute, and Wyatt Stoute.
