June, a loving mother and grandmother, was a cherished member of her community who served the LVFC (Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community) and the Counsel on Aging. She lived a life devoted to her faith, her family, and her passions.

A devout Catholic and member of the Catholic Daughters of America, June’s faith was the foundation of everything she did. Her unwavering belief in the power of love, family, and kindness was evident in every interaction she had. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she showed an extraordinary love for her family. Her nurturing spirit and wisdom guided her children and grandchildren through life, and her love will continue to live on in their hearts.

June had a passion for many hobbies that brought her immense joy. Photography was one of her great loves, and she frequently captured the beauty of life, submitting her photographs to the Sugarcane Festival. She was also deeply interested in genealogy, preserving her family’s history for future generations. An avid scrapbooker, she would lovingly document memories and milestones, and her creativity was evident in every project she completed. Mary June’s talent extended to sewing, where she created beautiful, handcrafted items for her family and friends.

A lover of travel, June was always ready to pack a bag and embark on an adventure. Whether near or far, she embraced every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories. Her passionate spirit was evident in her fondness for Westerns and Hallmark movies, often losing herself in the heartwarming plots and timeless love stories.

Perhaps the greatest testament to June’s love was her devotion to her late husband, Jay. Their love story was one for the ages, and she cherished every moment they spent together. She lovingly scrapbooked all of his love letters, preserving their sweet words as a symbol of their enduring bond.

June’s legacy is one of love, family, creativity, and faith. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the beautiful creations she leaves behind.
