Timothy “Tim” Kindt McNett

Timothy “Tim” Kindt McNett was born in Jeanerette, Louisiana, on the 15th of July 1954 and passed away in Grants, New Mexico, on the 23rd of December 2024.
Tim attended school in Jeanerette, La. His work career included skills in building construction, carpentry, electrical and building maintenance. He retired from Reptile Tannery of Louisiana.

Tim is survived by his wife Sky Brumfield McNett of Progress, Mississippi, his two daughters from his first marriage, (Ida Lopez) Carla McNett of New Iberia, and Susan Romero of Youngsville, two stepsons Curtis Oliver, and Blake Merriett, of Mississippi, sisters Marlene McNett of Lydia, and Darlene (Charles) Alexander of New Iberia, brother-in-law David Willis, sister-in-law Gloria McNett (Jerry). Grandchildren Kaitlyn Romero-Martin (Connor), Grant Romero, Christina Buteau,  and Madison “Maddie” Buteau. Jaylee Oliver, Bryce Oliver, Remington Oliver Sidney Merriett, Riley Merriett and Rayann Merriett are shared grandchildren with his wife Sky. Two great-grandchildren Conner Buteau and Amelia Kate Martin.  As well as his Aunt Barbara Hubbard of Lydia.  Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Martin McNett (1915-2005), and Blanche Carolyn (nee Mitchell) McNett 1922-1980, and his brother Jerald “Jerry” Martin McNett 1941-2019.

A memorial service will be held on the 1st of February at 1 PM at Highland Baptist Church, New Iberia, Louisiana.
