Loreauville–A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Troy Breaux, 58, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Barry Crochet as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville.

Visitation will be held beginning on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and resume on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday, evening at 6:00 p.m.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Loreauville, Troy Breaux passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2024 at Iberia Medical Center.

Troy Breaux, beloved husband of Melissa Whatley Breaux for 37 years, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. He cherished his family endlessly, especially his sons Deven and Dayne. Troy found immense joy in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spent many happy hours on the open road.

In his younger years, Troy enjoyed fishing with his loved ones and friends, creating cherished memories by the water. Known for his sociable nature, Troy never hesitated to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. Renowned as a captivating storyteller, he could turn a simple tale into an engaging adventure, often turning a quick chat into hours of lively discussion.

Troy will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for life, storytelling prowess, and genuine warmth touched the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to share in his company.

Troy is survived by the love his life, Melissa Whatley Breaux; sons, Deven Breaux (Sydney), Dayne Breaux (Caitlin); grandsons, Hux Breaux, Ledger Breaux, and a granddaughter yet to be name, and a brother, Blaine Breaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, and Rose Lancon Breaux; grandchildren, Beckam Breaux and Everly Breaux; nephew, Connor Duhon; brother, Scott Breaux.
