LOUISIANA LAO NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

When: Friday, April 18, 2025 through Sunday, April 20, 2025

Where: Wat Thammarattanaram Temple, 7913 Champa Avenue, Broussard

What: This annual festival is held Easter weekend offering an authentic experience of Southeast Asia food, music and culture. The three-day festival will include live music and dancing, a beauty pageant, parades, sand castle building, kids activities, and several vendors selling clothes, jewelry, music and food from Southeast Asia.

SUPER SATURDAY DOWNTOWN SHOPPING

When: Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Main Street

What: Spend the day in downtown New Iberia for shopping and fun on Main Street. Stroll down Main Street among the downtown shops and local vendors and artisans set up on sidewalks. The market features one of a kind items and crafts with local vendors while highlighting the beauty of downtown New Iberia.

EASTER CRAFT SHOW AND EGG HUNT AT NISH

When: Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: New Iberia Senior High School, 1301 E. Admiral Doyle Drive

What: Bring the kids out for a fun-filled day to celebrate Easter weekend with friends. The Jacket Assembly Student Government is sponsoring an Easter craft show and egg hunt on the football field at New Iberia Senior High School.
