A Memorial service will be held for James Zehner, 56, at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Curley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday commencing at 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

A resident of New Iberia, he passed away at 4:54 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Lafayette General Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his fond memory his dear friend Rowena Zehner Linzer of New Iberia; three sons, Anthony Linzer of New Orleans, Lamont Linzer of Houston and Jermaine Linzer of Lafayette; two daughters, Rose Mary Hogan (Ty’Wayne) of New Iberia and Rochelle Linzer of Lafayette; one brother, Edmond Warner of Baton Rouge; one sister, Karen Harris (Randy) of Baton Rouge; one special niece, Stacy Orphry (Atari) of Houston; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Bernice Vilcan; stepmother, Lillian Drake Zehner; two brothers, Christopher Segura and Earl Anthony Dominique; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Williams and Debra Vilcan Robertson; brother-in-law, Irving Williams; and one grandson, Wayne Lee Hogan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home, 609 W. Admiral Doyle Drive, New Iberia, LA 70560.
