Lynda E. Cormier

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Lynda E. Cormier, 68, who passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in Houston.

Interment will be at a later date.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.

A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Cormier was born on October 3, 1949, to Cass and Tanzie Smith Beaufort. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and she enjoyed shopping and cooking.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Cormier; sons Alexander G. Cormier, Christian D. Cormier; father, Cass Beaufort; brother Brad Beaufort; and a sister Tammy Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tanzie Beaufort, and a brother Cass Beaufort Jr.
