Brandi Michelle Trahan and Kenneth Dalton Bonin were married Saturday, May, 19, 2018, at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blake Trahan of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bonin Jr. of New Iberia. The Pastor Joshua Bigwood officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Allure Bridals Romance fit and flare strapless gown, framed with a sweetheart neckline. The all-over ivory-colored lace gown with a light gold underlay, was accented with a crystal and pearl embellished belt and featured a V-back with fabric covered buttons. A chapel train completed the gown. For her head piece, she wore a crystal and pearl comb with fingertip veil trimmed in ivory-colored lace. She carried a bouquet of ivory-colored and peach-colored roses with blue hydrangea accented with dusty miller, silver dollar eucalyptus and baby’s breath.

Serving as maid of honor was Ashley Trahan, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cristy Trahan and Daphne Trahan, sisters of the bride, Kayla Bonin and Krystalynn Bonin, sisters of the groom, Lenzie Boulet and Kristen Young. Flower girl was Louvie Owens, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Johnathon Bertrand. Groomsmen were Kaleb Gardner, Anousack “Roger” Nachampasack, Joshua Arenibas, Drake Daigle, Wade Callahan, William Palazzola and honorary groomsman Kolby Broussard, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. The ring bearers were A.J. Perez, godchild of the bride and groom and Eli Broussard.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia.

The couple will take a delayed honeymoon and will reside in New Iberia.
