More than a dozen high school teams filled the New Iberia Senior High School main gym with the sounds of squeaking athletic shoes and bouncing basketballs as they took part in the Point Guard Booster Club Girls Team Camp on Friday and Saturday.

In addition to host team New Iberia Senior High, Teche Area squads including Delcambre, Catholic High, Westgate and St. Martinville visited for the two-day event, as well as Acadiana area squads Southside High, Lafayette High, David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy, Abbeville, Patterson and LaGrange high schools.
