LOREAUVILLE—Funeral services will be conducted for Barbara L. Broussard, 77, on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 117 Main Street with the Rev. Barry Crochet officiating the services. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 117 Main Street.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 9 a.m. until the time of service at David Funeral Home of Loreauville located at 118 S. Main Street. A recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11 a.m.

Barbara Louviere Broussard passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 11:58 p.m. at the age of 77 at Iberia Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Loreauville. She was born on March 15, 1941, to Fernest and Hilda Boutte Louviere.

Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. While spending time with them she loved cooking for them, working on cross word puzzles, reading her Country Living magazines and caring for “Monkey”, her special little friend and dog .

Barbara is survived by the love of her life and husband of 58 years Allen Broussard; her two daughters Chris Broussard and fiancé, Chris Crochet, Colleen Bourque and husband, Shane; one son Steve Broussard and wife, Colleen; two sisters Mary Ann Landry, Betty Lou Darby and husband, Wilton; one brother J. Don Louviere and wife, Janice Reed; grandchildren Triston Bourque, Briggs Broussard, Brynn Broussard and her very best buddy Monkey the dog.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by parents Fernest and Hilda Boutte Broussard.
