Firefighters work the scene of a mobile home fire Sunday afternoon at the intersection of  Louisiana 14 and Leleux Road.

Local firefighters responded to a report of a mobile home fire near the intersection of Louisiana 14 and Leleux Road Sunday afternoon. Iberia Parish Fire District 1 Chief Guy Bonin said a call came in at approximately 4:49 p.m. of a structure fire in the area. Bonin said the mobile home had flames coming out of rear of the mobile home. The fire was under control by 5:01 p.m., he said, adding no one was home at the time.
