The Iberia Parish School Board will consider granting approval to purchase services for complete, comprehensive security assessments of all facilities at Wednesday’s regular meeting.
If approved, the board will hire Fidelis Global Group to make the assessments, then take appropriate action.
School Board members also will hear an update on the bond construction project for the new elementary school. The updates will concern Southern Constructors and Design Architects Studio concerning the project.
Financial highlights for the general fund and lunch fund also will be discussed at the meeting.
In other business, the board will vote to consider partial or substantial completion, final payments and change Orders for bond construction projects.
Repairs to Jeanerette and Coteau elementary schools, the Alternative Center for Education and North Street Elementary also will be discussed. A final payment for Sugarland Elementary School will be voted on, as well as change orders for Dodson Elementary School and the new elementary school being built behind Belle Place Middle.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the board room at the Administration Office, 1500 Jane St.
