OTTAWA — Former Westgate High standout Diontae Spencer caught six passes for 41 yards and two touchdowns and Trevor Harris threw for 367 yards and a CFL-playoff record six touchdowns and the Ottawa RedBlacks punched their ticket to the Grey Cup with a 46-27 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League Eastern Division Final Sunday.

Spencer caught a 22 yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to put Ottawa up 14-3 and then added a nine yard touchdown reception later in the period as the RedBlacks went up  27-6 on Hamilton.

The RedBlacks will play Calgary in the 106th Grey Cup Championship set for Sunday in Edmonton.

Spencer will be the first person from New Iberia to play in the Grey Cup since former NISH and McNeese standout Kerry Joseph led the Saskatchewan Roughriders to the CFL title in 2007 at the 95th Grey Cup, the championship game for the Canadian Football League.
