A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Anna Marie ‘Sis” Sereal, 65, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Damoah, celebrant.

She will await the resurrection at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday at the church until time of service with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, she passed at 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center following a brief illness.

She attended Francis M. Boley High School in Jeanerette and Worthern High School in Houston, Texas. In addition, she was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of Harry Eugene American Legion Post 549. Lastly, she was a former member of the Bahama Luau Social Club in Jeanerette.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Corey Sereal of Jeanerette; three sisters Sheila Sereal Marks (Earl Sr ) of Dallas, Texas, Shirley Mae Vallier Arceneaux (James Sr.) of Lafayette and Althea Rose Sereal-Williams of Carencro; six brothers Cleveland Sereal Jr. of Lafayette, Ulysses Joseph Sereal and Donald Craig Sereal Sr. of Jeanerette, Tillford Ranzel Sereal of Carencro, Jamal Francis of Lafayette and Johnny Ray Dennis Sr. of Sorrel; three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Sereal Sr. and Marie Eunice Chretien Sereal; two brothers Patrick Paul Sereal and Gregory James Sereal; and one sister Angela Renee Sereal.

Active Pallbearers will be Ulysses Sereal Jr., Donald Sereal Jr., Deonte Sereal, Devron Sereal, Eddie Zion Williams II and Quincy Sereal Sr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cleveland Sereal, Ulysses Joseph Sereal, Donald Craig Sereal Sr., Tillford Ranzel Sereal, Jamal Francis, Paul Sereal Sr. and Johnny Ray Dennis.
