Dennis was born April 1, 1945, in New Iberia to the late Willie Seaux and the late Leah Couvillier Seaux and passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Iberia Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Dennis was retired and worked with several different companies during those years. In his early years, he worked with Pelican Creamery and then moved on as a sales representative with Jack’s Cookies for over 17 years. After that he began working in the oilfield driving trucks and drove with Lynn Romero Trucking.
Outside of his work, some of Dennis’ pastimes included riding motorcycles and horses. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and was the music director for St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella. But his greatest joy was his family. He was dedicated to their care and cherished the time he spent with them. He leaves a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy Menard Seaux; his children Dennis “Denny” Seaux Jr. (Racheal), Troy Seaux (Angela) and Senette Weger (Damon); his step-daughters Melissa Maynard (Phil) and Danell Mire (Kevin); 10 grandchildren whom he adored; his brother and sister Wilton Seaux (Anne) and Gloria Hebert (Craig); and his aunt whom he looked upon as his own sister, Lilly Beadle.
He was preceded in death by his wife of his first marriage, Mona Moore Seaux; his parents, Willie and Leah Couvillier Seaux; and his in-laws Alvin and Thelma Menard.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Seth and Dylan Weger, Brayton Maynard, Evan Mire, Darryl Menard and Craig Hebert.
