Middle School Jamboree set Saturday at NISH

Ten middle schools will send teams to the 2018 Middle School Jamboree to be held Saturday at New Iberia Senior High School’s two gyms.
Teche Area teams Anderson Middle School, Belle Place Middle School, Catholic High, Franklin Junior High, Jeanerette, Iberia Middle and St. Martinville Junior High will be joined by Breaux Bridge, JS Clark and West Thibodaux. Seventh- and eighth-grade teams compete with one sixth-grade game.
The majority of games will be played in the main gym with four games in the auxiliary gym.
Belle Place opens up against Franklin in a seventh-grade game at 9 a.m. in the main gym to start the jamboree off. At 9:45, JS Clark plays Belle Place’s in an eighth-grade game in the main gym and Catholic High plays Franklin in a sixth-grade game in the auxiliary gym.
At 10:30 a.m., Anderson Middle plays CHS in an eighth-grade game in the main gym and Catholic High plays Anderson in a seventh-grade game at 10:45 in the auxiliary gym.
JS Clark plays Franklin in an eighth-grade game at 11:15 in the main gym and West Thibodaux and Belle Place play an eighth-grade game at noon in the main gym. At noon in the auxiliary gym, Franklin plays Catholic High in a seventh-grade game.
At 12:45 p.m., Breaux Bridge plays Belle Place in a seventh-grade game in the main gym and Jeanerette plays West Thibodaux in an eighth-grade game in the auxiliary gym.
All games after 12:45 p.m. are in the main gym.
Iberia Middle plays Breaux Bridge in an eighth-grade game at 1:30 p.m., with Anderson MIddle playing Breaux Bridge in a seventh-grade game at 2:15 p.m.
West Thibodaux takes on Franklin in an eighth-grade game at 3 p.m. and St. Martinville plays Jeanerette in an eighth-grade game at 3:45 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m., Iberia Middle plays Catholic High in an eighth-grade game, and at 5:15 p.m., Belle Place plays Breaux Bridge in an eighth-grade game.
St. Martinville takes on Anderson Middle in an eighth-grade game at 6 p.m. to wrap up the day.
