Ashley Elizabeth Hebert and Nicholas James Francois were married Friday, November 16, 2018, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Charlotte Credeur Hebert of Scott. Grandparents of the bride are Teresa Lanie Hebert and the late Dupre Hebert and Ella Decou Credeur and the late Woodly Credeur, all of Scott.
The groom is the son of Glenn and Connie Laborde Francois of New Iberia. Grandparents of the groom are Mary Juneau Laborde and the late Roland Laborde of Bunkie and the late Lionel and Octavia Francois of Cottonport.
Reverend Mark Derise officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant, ivory fit and flare gown by Mori Lee. The soft net gown was accented by a sweetheart neckline as well as frosted embroidered appliques and an embroidered illusion back. A chapel length train and scalloped hemline complemented the gown.
She carried a bouquet of Ohara garden roses, amnesia rose, deep purple scabiosa, chocolate dahlias, privet berries with ruscus and seeded eucalyptus wrapped in an ivory satin ribbon and religious medals belonging to her late grandfathers.
Serving as matron of honor was Ashley Arnold Baker. Bridesmaids were Liz Bearb, Meagan Camardelle, Amber Guillory Guidry, Heather Fontenot Mahaffey, Jesica Mayer, Brittany Venable Montgomery and Jenny Francois Toups. Junior bridesmaid was Marli Taeghan Toups and the flower girl was Evie Kate Montgomery.
Serving as best man was Craig Morel. Groomsmen were Beau Armentor, Mark Beyt, Kenny Maggard, Jr., Brett Rodrigue, Matt Laborde, and Troy Toups.
Derek Corkran and Jude Monte served as ushers.
A reception for family and friends was held after the ceremony at The V Reception Halls. Delicious food and drink were provided by Fezzo’s of Scott.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Youngsville.
