A Home-going celebration will be held for Mr. Michael “Bogie” Delcambre, 50, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. James Broussard, officiating.

He will await the resurrection in St. Matthew Cemetery in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

A resident of New Iberia, he passed at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Michael Antoine Sr. (Cortisha), Cardell Antoine, Brandon Antoine, Travis Antoine and Jamonica Grant all of New Iberia; his mother, Charlene Alexander of Jeanerette; step-sister Debra Alexander of Jeanerette; six grandchildren, Michael Antoine Jr., Tre’Shawn Pomier, Raydall Garrett, Johntre Charles, Makayla Narcisse and Trinity Antoine all of New Iberia; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hayward Alexander Sr.; two brothers, Leon Alexander and Hayward Jr.; maternal step-grandfather, Jack LaVoll; and his maternal grandmother, Ella Delcambre.

Active Pallbearers are Courtland Harrison, Curtis Brown III, Chad Lopez, Joseph Francis, David Lopez and David Antoine.

Honorary Pallbearers are Cardell Antoine, Michael Antoine, Brandon Antoine, Travis Antoine, DeShawn Lopez and Jermaine Antoine.
