Domingues and Blanchard to be wed

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Domingues of Erath and Mr. and Mrs. Lane Blanchard of New Iberia announce the engagement of their children Catherine Louise Domingues and Taylor Lane Blanchard. The bride-elect’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Quirk and Mrs. Anastasia Domingues, of Erath, and the late Jimmy Domingues. The prospective groom’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Blanchard Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Derouen, all of New Iberia.

The wedding will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath.

The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Erath High School and 2018 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Iberia Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Loreauville High School and is a sugarcane farmer with Blanchard Brothers Inc.
