Isaiah Perro Jr.

JEANERETTE — Funeral services for Isaiah “June” Perro Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at First COGIC, Jeanerette.

Elder Clifton Tate will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at First COGIC.

Isaiah “June” Perro Jr. was born December 19, 1962, to Isaiah Perro Sr. and the late Willie Mae Dorsey Perro. He was the first born to their union. He was married to the love of his life, the late Mrs. Louella Johnson Perro. He departed this life Monday February 11, 2019, surrounded by family.

He will be forever cherished by his father, Isaiah Perro Sr. of Jeanerette; his two sisters, Angela Perro Ledet of Jeanerette and Linda Perro of Canton, Georgia; one foster brother, Tramall Tardy of New Iberia; two nephews, Shane Perro of Jeanerette and Jayceon Tardy of Lafayette; and two nieces, LeT’Anna Ledet of Jeanerette and TraMillieana Tardy of New Iberia. He also leaves behind two godchildren, Sonya Dorsey of Glencoe and Nicole Bethal of New Iberia; one aunt, Ernestine Perro Dorsey of Four Corners; five uncles, Murray Dorsey (Dorothy Dorsey) of Four Corners, Curtis Steward Sr. of Beaumont, Texas, Ezekiel Perro (Willie Mae) of Georgia, Ruben C. Perro (Connie) of New Iberia and Sidney Perro (Beverly) of New Iberia; five step-children, Lawanda Theodile (Tobert) of Lafayette, Reginald Johnson Sr. of Baton Rouge, Larry Johnson (Christie) of San Diego, Randy Johnson of New Iberia and Orelia Parker (Derrick Sr.) of Elkridge, Maryland; 19 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; one step-uncle, Ananias Johnson; and six step-aunts, Viola Derouen, Catherine Johnson, Theresa Johnson, Eula Williams, Selena Joseph and Hilda Harris. He will be dearly missed by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death with his wife, Louella Johnson Perro; and his mother, Willie Mae Dorsey Perro.
