Rebekah Joanna Freimann and Kerry Lee Prudhomme were married Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Assembly Christian Center in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Philip and Janice Freimann of Daytona Beach, Fla., and the groom is the son of Jeannette Prudhomme of New Iberia and the late Cursey “C.J.” Prudhomme.
Officiating at the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Paul Neel.

The bride wore an A-line white satin gown with an empire waist. The bodice featured sleeves and a scoop neckline that was embellished with machine embroidery, pearls and sequins. The bottom of the gown and the semi-cathedral train were accented with a wide band of machine embroidery, pearls and sequins. The back of the gown was adorned with white satin-covered buttons down the back.
She carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses with white hanging wisteria.
Serving as matron of honor was Alisa Pridgeon and bridesmaid was Sarah Freimann. They each carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Serving as best man was Daryl Alford. Groomsman were Joseph “Bull” Anthony.
Ushers were John Freimann and Stephen Prudhomme.
A reception for family and friends was held at the Assembly Christian Center.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in New Iberia.
