Emily Cecile Broussard and Benjamin James Williams were married Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Broussard of Lafayette and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael James Williams of Jeanerette.
The Rev. Thomas Voorhies officiated at the 7 p.m. nuptial Mass.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Paloma Blanca drop-waist ball gown with an alecon lace bodice and silk dupioni cumerband. The skirt of the gown featured gathered silk with a scalloped lace at the hem continuing onto the cathedral train. An alecon lace bolero completed the ensemble.
For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral veil.
She carried a clutch bouquet of ivory-colored vendella roses and stephanotis accented with antique pearl pins and adorned with the rosary of her maternal grandmother.
Matron of honor was Claire Danos. Bridesmaids were Alicia Broussard, Shelley Reed, Cassie Dossey, Jamie LeBlanc and Leslie Muehr.
Serving as flower girl was Olivia Danos.
Best man was Joel Hebert. Groomsmen were Demick Stoltz, Seth Moss, Anthony Rodriguez, Luke Ortego and Sean Lanier.

A reception for family and friends was held at Magdalen Place in Abbeville.
Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Houston.
