The Allied Christian Soldiers donated $6,000 to Iberia Parish Jail inmates for the holiday season. Burt Bujard, president of the group, said the group annually collects money to be split between inmates at the jail each Christmas season, and this year was able to raise $6,000. The funds are raised inter-denominationally, with Catholic, Baptist and other religious groups pitching in for the effort.
