Elizabeth Wiggins “Aunt Lizzie” Lockett, 89, entered into eternal rest at her home in Baton Rouge on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was a native of Four Corners.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, conducted by Pastor David Rousse at Faith Cathedral World Outreach Center, 4416 Highway 14, New Iberia. Interment will follow at Sorrel Community Cemetery, Sorrel.

Survivors include her children Florence Ann Lockett, Lonnie Lockett (Cathy), Angela F. Lockett De Jean (Preston) all of Baton Rouge, Leroy Lockett Jr. (Conchita) of New Iberia, Linda Lockett Mays (Travis) of Gardena, California, Richard Wayne Lockett (Iris) of Diamond Bar, California and Terrence Reid Lockett (Jeanelle) of Hacienda Heights, California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Lockett Sr.; parents Henry and Florence Wiggins; children Cheryl Lynn Lockett and Joyce Marie Lockett Perkins; and five siblings.
