The Iberia Parish Council will vote on a resolution regarding the off-system bridge replacement program at Wednesday’s regular meeting.

The resolution will certify to the Department of Transportation and Development that the parish has met all the prerequisites to participate in the program from the period of Oct. 1, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2020.

The council will vote to grant substantial completion to the Iberia Parish Airport Authority for the North GA central connector as completed by Glenn Lege Construction LLC.

In other business, the council will vote to establish a four-way stop at the intersection of Avenue Belle Terre and Bonnet Street as well as Avenue Belle Terre and Timberstone Drive, located in Timberstone Estates.

The item was deferred at the Oct. 11 council meeting.

In other business, the council will vote to amend the 2023 Recreation District No. 1 fund budget in the amount of $275,000 to appropriate funding for roof replacement of the Ward 8 facility. The replacement will be funding with insurance proceeds ($233,978) and sales tax revenue ($41,022).

A resolution to amend the 2023 Acadiana Fairgrounds Commission Fund in the amount of $17,000 to provide for air conditioning repairs, arena sand and parking lot gravel, all to be funded with additional state shared revenues, contributions and donations, will be voted on as well.

The meeting will take place 6 p.m. Wednesday at the council chambers in the Iberia Parish Courthouse.
