St. James Baptist Church of Lydia will be celebrating its 123rd church anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 29.

The celebration will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Francis L. David, past and teacher. The guest speaker for the occasion is the Rev. Terry Lee Joseph, pastor of New Zora Baptist Church of Morgan City. The public is invited.
