FlyGuys Ribbon Cutting
Downtown Lafayette
A reality data capture tech startup unveiled its new headquarters in downtown Lafayette with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. FlyGuys took the next step in its expansion with the opening of a 13,000 square foot facility on Jefferson Street on Wednesday, March 13. The company is continuing a wave of momentum following a $10 Million Series A round of funding that came late in 2023.

The Coach Des Ragin Cajun Classic
Cane Row Golf and Turf Club
The Coach Des Ragin Cajun Classic golf tournament was the place to be on Friday as hundreds took to Cane Row Golf and Turf Club to support New Iberia native Michael Desormeaux and the Ragin’ Cajuns football team. The event, started in 2022 by Cane Row owner Hugh Andre and community leader Eric Haik, has grown exponentially since its inception. This year’s event raised over $50,000 from 36 teams and over 50 hole sponsors.

A Night at the Museum
The Bayou Teche Museum
The Bayou Teche Museum gala, “A Night at the Museum,” was held on March 13, 2024 in New Iberia, La. Wendy Rodrigue’s private collection of art work titled “Painting for Myself,” made by her late husband, George Rodrigue was on display. Silent and live auction of items benefited the museum’s fund-raising efforts.
