I am possibly (not probably) NO smarter than Ted and, in fact, sometimes almost enjoy his drivel (point of view), but I find myself rejecting about 98.47% of it. I REJECT his expressing pure HATRED toward the Capitalistic System, the very engine that runs perhaps the greatest economy that the WORLD has ever seen… the one that has given TED the luxuries he and ALL of us, rich and poor, enjoy.

Ted Rall is the author of stuff probably admired by members of certain circles…we have had admirers of people like Hitler, Stalin, Duke and others and of Twain and Hemmingway as well. Whatever floats your boat.

What Bothers, Irks, Infuriates, Drives me mad, Hacks me off, etc., is his HAUGHTY manner of expressing himself and shamelessly exposing that to some immature minds…his citing ‘facts’ from sources that are as biased as he is. He uses this as a basis for his radical SOCIALISTIC agenda

(Right now pause and re-read Ken’s piece before you accidently slip into the Ted Rall Crap Trap and begin to agree with his rantings.

I, unfortunately, read Rall’s Saturday piece on getting degrees from educational institutions. Of course Ted finds MAJOR faults with our way of educating ourselves and, of course, he offers us a BRILLIANT alternative.

According to Ted, a free-market solution creates NOTHING but HORRIBLE results for the poor-downtrodden masses of Americans forced to be subjected to CAPITALISM!

My blood pressure soars from hearing such news!

Then I read that the ONLY way to our SALVATION is thru JESUS…(oops, wrong column on the same page)…thru SOCIALISM!!

IF we could only make the FEDERAL GVERNMENT into the ALLMIGHTY (more than it IS now), then we can practice ‘group-think’ and they will follow!!

I shudder to think of the results upon the minds of young, innocent people who could simply be brainwashed…those who don’t understand the difference between B. S. and B. S.

NATIONALIZE the whole works, PRIVATE and PUBLIC alike..distribute the teachers around to where they are ‘best’ needed….practice GROUPTHINK at the hands of BUREAUCRATS???

Cite GREAT examples of how well this works out ECONOMICALLY in CUBA(!!!), Central America and Europe..shinning examples of freedom of thought and prosperity! Funny thing, Ted DID NOT include Russia and China.

Ted, why did you not compare the ECONOMIES of these shinning examples of Socialistic land masses? Inconvenient truths? Were some more prosperous in the past?

Left, Right, Up, Down, Sideways and Back and Forth…we are always moving. But sometimes we move in the WRONG direction, led by mis-guided policies.

Why don’t those who hate our system just try it themselves…take out a STUDENT LOAN, get educated, learn about Capitalism and perhaps enrich yourself by doing just that at a public or private institution of your choice. Put down your MARXIAN books and then pay back your student debt all by yourself…NOT WITH MY TAX DOLLARS…
