Two graduating seniors at Louisiana State Univeristy this semester from New Iberia are among 50 graduating underclassmen to receive the prestigious University Medal, awarded to undergraduate students with the highest grade point averages.

Charles A. Moore and Luke Verret received the awards recently during a special ceremony.

Moore and Verret graduated  with Bachelor of Science degrees from the College of Science.
