Armed robbery suspects arrested in Jeanerette

The Jeanerette Police Department made two arrests in connection with two armed robberies that occurred over the weekend and are expecting more arrests to be made in the near future. 

According to Chief Dusty Vallot, several suspects were developed over the week, and the JPD arrested a juvenile and 18-year-old Asyd Lumpkin. The juvenile was arrested for principal to armed robbery and given a $50,000 bond, while Lumpkin was charged for armed robbery and given a $100,000 bond.

Several warrants have been issued in both cases for several individuals. They include Jerrion Sereal, 19, who is wanted on one count of armed robbery; 19-year-old Tavares Tallmore on two counts of armed robbery and 18-year-old Quentin Barabin Jr. for two counts of armed robbery.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
