On July 25, 2024, shortly after 4:30 p.m., detectives with the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division were requested to investigate an officer-involved shooting involving multiple law enforcement agencies, which occurred on Hubertville Road near Martin Luther King Drive in Jeanerette.
