So it turns out MISSY is one powerful little lady after all…she can literally pull your arm out of it’s socket if you are not careful when you walk her on a leash.

The ‘good’ news, for BUZZ’s sake at least, was that whatever caught her eye (& nose, throat and ears?) did so around 11 PM and there were no cars barreling down East Main Street to ‘squish’ us into the asphalt.

BUZZ’s usual ‘hop a ride on Rich’s shoulder for a night-time stroll’ could have ended badly after MISSY got wind of something across the street, bayou side, and WENT for it flat-out style.

Although it happened in a flash, BUZZ either jumped off or was flung up on the sidewalk to safety…Rich was lying on asphalt however…down there favoring a dislocated left arm at that.

MISSY, now wandering through some bayou-side yards, leash dragging, was soon recovered by a ‘one useful’ armed owner speaking many not nice words to her…some of those words would make a sailor blush?

Although this was not the first time the MISSTAKE of a mongrel has caused someone to fall, this time it has led to two specialists (Board Certified types) and the start of Physical Therapy…and yet, I still reward Ms. MISSY for the rare times she actually behaves.

BUZZ looks at Phys Ther as a day out spent among folks who like to feel better after getting some kind of treatment…a day to stretch that limb, walk that walk or push that wall down the hall. There are a variety of things to do with a whole assortment of items to do it with…all nicely timed for you. Well, NOT ALL…you have to count out some ‘reps’ too, but if you know your numbers up to 30 or so, you should be O.K.

Once in the reception area you’ll see Baleigh or Hope first, BUZZ will guide you thru the paperwork if she’s there (always the ‘helpful’ one she) and then you are ready to go behind the BIG DOOR to the ‘arena’ where the real work begins.

Inside you might meet Alex or some other ‘re-habber’, but you won’t seek BUZZ there…strict NO BUGS ALLOWED policy. The BUZZER is cool with all that, she cannot please everyone.

Well, the FESTIVAL SEASON is in HIGH gear once again and the gang and I get ‘PSYCHED-UP for sure’

Just yesterday, it seems, we watched a DEERE parade (Johnnie D.’s) instead of watching a hurricane…which was quite O.K. with us all. BUZZ claimed to hear some kind of music and merriment down the street and was thinking of the old cars she saw too.

There will be more walks with Missy and ‘trips’ with both Buzz and her real soon

I’m thinking, for MY own sake and the sake of non-humans worldwide, having ‘pals’ like BUZZ, MISSY or PANDA, GHOSTIES ! & 2, has been a pleasure at times, and sometimes not so much…
