BROUSSARD — A Mass of Christian burial for Godfrey “Hap” Paul Robertson, 64, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 232 De Porres Street, Broussard. Fr. Thomas James will be the celebrant.
Interment will be at the Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary.

Visitation will be Wednesday at the church beginning at 8 a.m. until time of services.
The Knights of Peter Claver ritual will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 10 a.m.
Godfrey was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1954, to the union of Web Robertson and Verna Mae Wilson Robertson in Lafayette. Following graduation from Holy Rosary Institute, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After having served his country faithfully, he was honorably discharged. He was a devout catholic and was a devoted member of St. Anthony Mission Chapel in Cade. He retired from Carbo Ceramics after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by a brother Webster Robertson; and his grandparents.
Godfrey went to eternal rest on Thursday, July 4, 2019, in Lafayette following a courageous battle with cancer.
Godfrey leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Pamela Ann Robertson of Cade; his children Christopher (Latrell) Robertson of New Iberia, Nikki Robertson of Youngsville, Bianca Taylor of Cade, Nicholas (Nytavia) Journet of Broussard and Kevin (Jessica) Livings of Grand Coteau; his parents, Web and Verna Robertson, both of Cade; two siblings Cynthia (David) Victor of Cade and Jonathan “JR” Robertson of Atlanta, Georgia; 21 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
