Lipari team finishes No. 1 in La.

The Lipari Baseball 11U team finished first in the state and achieved the No. 1 ranking after winning the state tournament on June 17. The No. 1 team in Louisiana outscored its state tournament foes 66- 26 and committed only seven errors while going undefeated in seven games in Lake Charles. The team, which practiced diligently for seven months, qualified for last week’s USSSA World Series in Baton Rouge.
