One night each year, the community has the chance to support and celebrate the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival in the most glamorous and festive way at the Stars of Style Gala. The star-studded cast of 19 honorees will take the runway to showcase the epitome of style.

The premier fundraising event, 2019 Stars of Style Gala, will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Pavilion at the Cypress Bayou Casino, 832 Martin Luther King Dr., Charenton. Guests will enjoy dinner and cocktails at 6 p.m. before the show’s commencement at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a silent auction in which everyone is invited to participate. Individual tickets, which include dinner and cocktails, are $150 and can be purchased at Eventbrite.com. Tickets will be available for purchase until July 19th.

During the gala, the honorees will take the runway, showcasing their personal style and charm. In addition to the Stars of Style, a sixth-generation farming family, the Landrys, will be honored on stage. You can learn more about the Landrys on Page 31. The evening’s Emcees will once again be Senator Fred Mills and Queen Sugar LXXV Caroline Marcello of KLFY News 10. Of course, the legendary Sugar Lumps will perform during the gala. Following the main program, guests and honorees are invited to stick around to dance and laugh to DJ Rhett LeCompte.

In recent years, as a fundraising event, the Stars of Style Gala has reached new heights of success. This means that all funds raised go directly to the Sugar Cane Festival. Supporting the Stars of Style Gala means supporting the legacy of the Sugar Cane Festival.
