- A June trip to the Louisiana Capitol confirmed the documentary effort of ‘PAVY’ to append the myth that Carl Weiss was the shooter of former Gov. and U.S. Senator Huey Long. Based on the 1999 book by the late Dr. Donald Pavy, for more than 84 years Long’s legacy has blamed a potentially innocent man for the shooting.
