ELL 11-12-year-old girls win state title

Evangeline Little League’s 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars won the state championship recently and advanced to the Little League Southwest Regionals in Waco, Texas. ELL defeated the Winnfield Parish All-Stars 17-6 in the championship game in Marskville, where the tournament was moved after heavy rain in New Iberia and Lafayette.
