The home of Nash and Jenna Scott, located at 705 Terrell Court, was chosen by Azalea Garden Club to receive the Iberia Beautification Award for November. The yard contains a variety of shrubs including azalea, boxwood, shi shi camellia, and sunshine ligustrum. Lining the beds in front of the house are pansies, periwinkle, agapanthus, flax lilies, foxtail fern, sun hostas, and crotons. The yard also has Japanese maple and crepe myrtle trees.

This program promotes beautification and attractive landscaping. The community benefits when residences that are models of landscaping and beautification are recognized and rewarded, encouraging and setting standards for others. Public signs increase community awareness of having pride in our community.

Azalea is a member of District III, Louisiana Garden club Federation Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc., and National Garden Clubs Inc.
