Acadiana Christian School takes home gold at state track and field meet

The Acadiana Christian School girls were crowned state champions at the ACEL state track and field meet last weekend. The boys team finished as state runners up. 

New state records were set by Kacey Moore (300-meter hurdles), Tylar Moore (high jump) and Neal Osburn (200-meter dash). Junior Yvette Oliver was named meet MVP.

Brylynn Archon – 1st in longjump

Bella Cahanin – 3rd in 1600-meters and 3200-meters

Peyton Couvillier – 3rd in javelin

Kacey Moore – 1st in 300-meter hurdles; 2nd in triple jump, 100-meters and 200-meters 

Tylar Moore – 1st in high jump and 100-meter hurdles

Yvette Olivier – 1st in discus, 3rd in discus

Avery Tabb – 2nd in high jump and 300-meter hurdles; 3rd in triple jump

4×100-meters – 1st Place; Jazmyn James, Archon, Dakota Cahanin, K.Moore

4×200-meters – 3rd Place; James, Addi Boudreaux, T.Moore, D. Cahanin

Cason Breaux – 1st in 110-meter hurdles; 2nd in triple jump and 300-meter hurdles

Isaiah Burch – 3rd in javelin

Neal Osburn – 1st in 100-meter and 200-meter dash; 2nd in long jump and 100-meter dash

4×100-meters – 1st Place; Burch, Lane Parks, Landon Decuir, Osburn

4×200-meters – 1st Place; Burch, Parks, Decuir, Brandon Judice
