Lemon pie

2 cups water

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup cornstarch

3 eggs

Juice from 1 lemon

Rind from lemon

1 teaspoon butter

Bring water to boil. Slowly add diluted cornstarch and sugar.

Slowly add beaten egg yolks, lemon juice, rind and butter.

Pour in baked pie shell. Beat 3 egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar to make meringue. Add meringue to top.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
